That the Friesian horse has been gaining ground in (international) dressage over the past few years cannot come to anyone’s surprise. Following this angle, the very first Excel Friesian Auction was composed: talents for the future. The foals fall under the virtual gavel September 1st. Bidding is open.
An above-average movement mechanism, often combined to a full paper; the future owners of the foals can look forward to some genuine quality. Take for instance Valentino van de Waelhoeve, sired by Overall Champion of the 2020 KFPS Stallion Show Matthys 504 Sport Elite AAA bred out of an Uldrik 457 Ster Sport AA mare that passed her IBOP with solid marks and whose successful in-harness-career yielded her the Sport predicate as well as the Ladies’ Championship Zuid-Nederland and even twice the Pavo Frsyo Trophy. Or Teuntsje van de Lapinenburg (Teun 505 x Tsjalle 454) that already proved to possess ample quality by securing a first premium to then put on a show in the champions round of Fokdag Midden-Nederland. And what about Tjitse van de Egberdina Hoeve (Omer 493 x Dries 421)? Both his dam Tjitske van de Egberdina Hoeve Ster Sport AA (Andries 415) and granddam Yskâld Wûnder E.T. Ster Sport Preferent Prestatie AA obtained the Sport predicate and solid IBOP scores.
Moreover, two embryos are up for sale, one out of the preferent Uwkje C., the dam of Yersie C. It concerns a frozen embryo by the stallion Tymen 503. Today the organisation presented also an embryo by Fonger 478 out of the champion of the 2021 Central Inspection Ilya fan Jentje’s Pleats Preliminary Crown (Jurre 495 x Michiel 442).
The foals were selected by a team of experts: Willem Houterman, Susan Winds, Marc Peter Spahn, Erwin Spliethof, Huibert Maurice and Denise Klap.
Lots of additional footage was recorded, such as a unique 180-degree video of the legs. Correctness is one of the main priorities. Of course, customers can view the foals at home.
